The Ocracoke Preservation Society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the unique history and culture of Ocracoke Island. We are a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization run with the commitment of a small staff and volunteers. Our museum is a treasure trove of artifacts, photographs, and documents that work together to tell the story of Ocracoke's past. The museum, online exhibits, and events held by OPS are all free admission, thanks to the support of generous donors. Words cannot describe how truly grateful we are for your contributions.
